Grand Rapids, Mich. (April 22, 2004) - An exclusive line of Baker fabrics and decorative trims designed by Jacques Garcia were unveiled at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. A total of 11 different fabrics in six colorways were matched with an exceptional offering of six decorative trims in five colorways to dress Garcia's upholstered designs in true French style.

Beige - Creamy ivory
Taupe - Brown with gray undertones
Parme - Soft violet
Aubergine - Eggplant
Rouge Theatre - Oxblood
Noir - Black

• A velvet stripe, imported from France, is set against white and black pin striping for sharp contrast. Offered in Rouge Theatre, Aubergine, Parme, Beige, or Taupe.
• An Old World woven chenille damask design with a textured ground is offered in Rouge Theatre, Aubergine, Parme, Beige, Taupe, and Noir.
• A textured chenille in five solid colorways is imported from France, and offered in Rouge Theatre, Beige, Taupe, Aubergine, and Bronze.
• A medium scaled striped pattern with a subtle sheen and slight moired effect is imported from France. Offered in Noir and Beige, Aubergine, Rouge Theatre, Taupe, and Noir and Taupe.
• A dense cut velvet stripe imported from France that contrasts crushed velvet stripes against a solid, woven background. Offered in Noir, Aubergine, Parme, Rouge Theatre, Beige, and Taupe.
• A simple chenille in solid colorways is woven in a blend of viscose and cotton, making it remarkably durable, yet has a slight sheen and soft, rich hand imparting a velvety appearance. Offered in Aubergine, Parme, Beige, Taupe, and Red Theatre.
• A cut and uncut velvet stripe with a unique loop and pile design creates texture and contrasting color. Imported from France, the fabric is offered in Aubergine, Noir and Taupe, Noir and Beige, Taupe and Beige, and Taupe and Noir.
• A small-scale, stylized vine woven on a textured ground. Imported from France, the fabric is offered in Noir and Taupe, Parme and Noir, White and White, Taupe and Beige, and Beige and Beige.
• An elegant stripe is achieved using contrasting color, and has a subtle, woven ribbed texture. Imported from France, the fabric is offered in Parme, Aubergine and Taupe, Beige and Taupe, Rouge Theatre and Taupe, and Noir and Taupe.
• A textured cut velvet with a leaf ribbon striped design. Imported from France, and offered in Aubergine, Rouge Theatre, Parme, Taupe and Beige.
• A dramatic, grand scale silk and cotton damask based on a document from Jacques Garcia's personal archives. Imported from Italy, the fabric is offered in Noir, Aubergine, Rouge Theatre, Beige, Taupe, and Bronze.

Marabout Boucle: A unique fringe is constructed with varying fibers all uncut and kept in loops lending a unique textural quality. The Marabout Boucle fringe is offered in Beige, Taupe, Parme, Aubergine, and Rouge Theatre.
Marabout Velvet: A dense, thick brush cut fringe is offered in Beige, Taupe, Parme, Aubergine, and Rouge Theatre.
Fringe Mèche: This delicate fringe is constructed by connecting individual tassels into one long run. The Fringe Mèche is offered in Beige, Taupe, Parme, Aubergine, and Rouge Theatre.
Fringe Torse: A three-inch bullion fringe imported from France, and offered in Beige, Taupe, Parme, Aubergine, and Rouge Theatre
Cable: A woven rope cord trim imported from France and offered in Noir, Taupe, Parme, Aubergine, and Rouge Theatre.
Braid: A woven flat braid trim with an intricate two-inch wide Greek key motif design. The braid is offered in Beige, Taupe, Parme, Aubergine, and Rouge Theatre.
